For many years, spring was there. But I wasn’t.

I was already in the next meeting, the next decision, the next responsibility.

Leadership had trained me to stay ahead: anticipate, deliver, hold everything together.

But in doing so, I was rarely fully where I actually was.

This year feels different. Not because life slowed down, but because I did.

I find myself noticing again: a magnolia in bloom, a moment that doesn’t ask to be used or optimized.

Grounded leadership is not about slowing down the world. It is about 📣 no longer leaving yourself behind as you move through it.

This is why my next professional chapter will focus on wellbeing, not as a trend, but as a foundation for how we lead, build, and live!
