A personal reflection on leadership: to lead with presence, not pretense.

To lead with presence means to show up grounded, honest, and whole — even in moments of uncertainty or transition. It means not hiding behind titles, perfection, or expectation, but allowing your clarity to speak louder than your fear.

Especially in public life, we’re often rewarded for composure, not vulnerability. For achievement, not aliveness. And yet, the most impactful leadership I’ve witnessed — and aspired to — begins with inner truth.
