The „human“ in human-centered leadership is not just about the team. It‘s about you, too.
Leadership carries weight. Emotional weight. The kind that does not show on paper. The kind that you carry quietly. For women, that weight is often heavier – being expected to lead with strength and softness, to be likeable and decisive, to hold space for others and deliver results, to absorb bias and make it all look efortless.
It is not efortless, it is not without cost.
What do you do to take care of yourself, as human and leader?
Taking a moment to enjoy a coffee, art and flowers does the job for me:)
