Ukraine’s Independence Day, together with Ukrainians in Bucharest, Romanian supporters and fellow ambassadors, at solidarity demo organized by the Embassy of Ukraine to Bucharest.
My speech was dedicated to the women of Ukraine, many of whom I have met throughout Romania, seen and heard at various border-crossing points. While at times without hope or clear destinations in their minds and hearts, they were never victims, always strong mothers of their nation!
They WILL rebuild Ukraine for their children and we WILL stand by their side! #StandWithUkraine #EUSolidarity
